About the Model
The Relational Empathy Model is a multidimensional model of empathy that has proven to be both valid and reliable through formalized research.
Empathy is often an abstract term in the field of therapy which, when not accurately defined, can create confusion and stress for the client. The Relational Empathy Model breaks empathy down into three main empathy domains with seven subdomains to provide clarity in both definition and assessment of empathy.
